My final university project consisted of creating string arrangements for original songs for a quartet to perform live. I am in no way a string player, so arranging for an instrument I didn't know how to play really pushed me into unfamiliar territory. Additionally, finding string players and organisation the scratch performance was a strenuous task that tried my collaboration skills.

The original pieces were written in my indie folk duo ‘anoushka and henry’.

I arranged this instrumentation with basic sight reading/theory knowledge and was able to perform it in front of a small group of peers for their feedback. The video below is a clip of the performance, showcasing our song 'Ghost of You' with a string quartet.
